May was a nice month. Lots of birthdays - Hasan, his mom, my mom's lunar calendar birthday, Wendy, sister-in-law Evelan, cousins Varun and Akhila, and some others I'm sure.

We took a nice trip up to Providence, Rhode Island for Akhila's graduation. What a beautiful drive through New Jersey, New York City, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and even a bit into Massachusetts where we stayed. Had a lot of fun driving around Hartford, CT on our way back - that's where Hasan grew up in his teenage/high school years. Strange to think of your partner as having a whole life before you knew them. And really really neat.
